If you want to purchase a domain from GoDaddy, you can follow these steps:
Visit the GoDaddy website at www.godaddy.com.
Use the search bar on the homepage to enter the domain name you want to purchase. Click on the "Search Domain" button.
GoDaddy will display the search results indicating the availability of the domain. If the domain is available, you will see the price listed next to it. If the domain is not available, GoDaddy may suggest alternative domain options.
Once you have found an available domain, click on the "Add to Cart" button next to it. You can continue searching for and adding multiple domains if you wish.
When you are ready to proceed, click on the shopping cart icon at the top right corner of the page.
Review the domains you have selected and make any necessary adjustments. You can choose the registration length (usually 1 year by default) and select additional services like privacy protection or email hosting if desired.
Click on the "Continue to Cart" button to proceed.
On the next page, you will have the option to sign in to an existing GoDaddy account or create a new account. Follow the prompts to complete the registration process.
After signing in or creating an account, you will be directed to the checkout page. Review your order once again and click on the "Continue" button.
Complete the checkout process by following the on-screen instructions. Once the payment is confirmed, you will receive a confirmation email from GoDaddy with the details of your domain purchase.
It’s important to note that domain prices can vary, and GoDaddy often offers promotional discounts, so it’s worth keeping an eye out for any available coupons or deals. On average a normal [.com] domain costs around $20.
